What This Role Involves

The role of a Medical Receptionist at Park Beach Family Practice is to provide efficient and professional administrative support. You will be responsible for managing patient appointments, answering phones, scheduling consultations, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Your duties will also include handling billing inquiries, maintaining patient records, and assisting with front desk operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage patient appointments and rescheduling as needed
• Answer phone calls and direct them to appropriate staff members or schedule appointments
• Schedule consultations and manage the flow of patients through the clinic
• Handle billing inquiries and process payments
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
• Assist with front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist who can contribute to our team's success. Key requirements include:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a medical reception role or related field
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
