The Opportunity

Join the dedicated team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores as a Diesel Technician. In this full-time role, you will provide critical services to a wide range of diesel vehicles, focusing on trucks that frequent our travel stops across the USA. This position is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vehicles that are crucial to the transport industry and our nation’s supply chain.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic checks and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Work with a team to manage the maintenance schedule for our fleet vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related role.
• A valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with appropriate endorsements is required.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for diesel engines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
