Position Summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team at Waste Connections. This position offers full-time employment with the opportunity for overtime and is based in Upton, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components
- Maintain and service vehicles to ensure optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as required
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations
- Keep detailed records of repairs, services, and parts used
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field
- A valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Certifications in relevant areas are preferred but not required
