What This Role Involves
In this 2nd shift position, you'll maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment essential to our daily operations. Your technical expertise ensures vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, oil changes, and inspections
- Execute PA state vehicle inspections and pre-dispatch safety checks
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective repairs
- Collaborate with operations to keep equipment running with minimal downtime
What You Bring
- PA Class 7 Heavy Vehicle license with state inspection certification
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proven diesel mechanic background or equivalent technical experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
- Dedication to safety standards and quality work
- Openness to ongoing professional training and development
