Responsibilities

• Shape and execute strategic category plans that deliver sustained value across priority spend areas
• Identify, evaluate and onboard preferred suppliers through structured market analysis and competitive processes
• Lead complex negotiations to secure favourable pricing, terms and service-level agreements
• Monitor global and local supply-market developments to anticipate risks and opportunities
• Collaborate with finance, operations and project teams to translate business needs into clear procurement requirements
• Track performance metrics, generate insightful reports and recommend continuous-improvement actions
• Ensure all procurement activity complies with internal policies, ethical standards and relevant legislation

Requirements

• Proven experience in strategic procurement, category management or a closely related supply-chain function
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement end-to-end procurement strategies
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and confident negotiation capability
• Familiarity with standard procurement tools, e-sourcing platforms and spend-analysis techniques
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills suited to a multinational environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply-chain management, economics or an equivalent discipline
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to the Belgian market are advantageous
