About the Role

As a Medication Assistant, you'll be part of the frontline care team supporting residents' health and wellbeing. Working under the direction of our nursing staff, you'll maintain accurate medication records, assist with resident observation, and help ensure our care standards meet the highest expectations. This is a hands-on position where your attention to detail and communication skills directly impact resident outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Support medication administration and management under nursing supervision
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Observe residents for health changes and communicate observations promptly
• Maintain organized, legible documentation of resident health information
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across Assisted Living and Memory Care units
• Respond to resident requests and concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently

What We're Looking For

• Current CMA certification (Certified Medication Assistant) or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
• Genuine interest in senior care and resident dignity
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing and light lifting
• Willingness to follow established protocols and procedures
