Position Summary
Diamond Foundry Inc. is addressing the thermal limitations at the core of today's most exciting tech industries—AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have achieved a groundbreaking milestone by producing the world’s first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now dedicated to placing a diamond behind every chip. As a fast-growing unicorn with profitable expansion plans worth over $515 million in funding, we aim to transform greenhouse gases into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy. We seek an experienced and innovative mechanical design engineer to lead high-visibility R&D projects within our Reactor Development Group.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and other systems used in diamond growth and manufacture.
- Manage multiple projects and teams with a proven track record of success.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on schedule and within budget constraints.
Requirements
- A strong background in mechanical engineering, preferably with experience in semiconductor equipment design or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing multiple projects and teams.
- An innovative mindset with a history of successful project outcomes.
- Experience working within the constraints of strict quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
