Markdown Associate (7am – 3pm)

TJX is hiring a Markdown Associate for our Greenville, SC 29607 location, working the 7am–3pm shift. This is a full-time position where you'll play a key role in our store operations by managing pricing adjustments and merchandise presentation.

About This Position

As a Markdown Associate at our Greenville store, you'll work a fixed 7am–3pm schedule to keep our merchandise accurately priced and our shelves properly organized. This role is essential to our retail operations, ensuring customers always see our current markdowns and seasonal pricing updates. You'll be part of a dynamic team that takes pride in creating a smooth, well-organized shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply markdown stickers and price adjustments to merchandise throughout the store
• Verify pricing accuracy against markdown directives and system records
• Organize and arrange marked-down items for maximum visibility and customer appeal
• Assist with inventory counts and clearance cycles as scheduled
• Maintain accurate records of markdowns and pricing changes
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily markdown goals
• Ensure compliance with company pricing guidelines and loss prevention policies

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work a consistent 7am–3pm schedule
• Attention to detail and accuracy when applying pricing information
• Basic math skills for price calculations
• Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Willingness to follow procedures and company policies
• Communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus
