Backroom Coordintor

Position Summary

As a Backroom Coordinator, you'll oversee the daily operations of our stockroom, ensuring merchandise flows efficiently from receiving through to the sales floor. You'll coordinate with team members across departments, manage inventory organization, and maintain the systems and processes that keep our store stocked and running at peak performance. This full-time role offers hands-on responsibility in a fast-paced retail environment where your work directly impacts customer experience and store success.

What You'll Do

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and merchandise deliveries
• Organize and maintain accurate inventory in the backroom and storage areas
• Coordinate merchandise placement, pricing, and preparation for the sales floor
• Communicate with sales associates and department managers about stock availability and needs
• Operate and maintain inventory management systems and equipment
• Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize out-of-stocks and overstock situations
• Ensure backroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
• Supervise and support backroom team members as needed

What We're Looking For

• Experience in retail backroom operations, warehouse, or similar inventory management role
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise regularly (up to 50 lbs)
• Proficiency with inventory systems and basic computer skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliable attendance and commitment to consistent scheduling
• Attention to detail and accuracy with inventory records
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
