Manufacturing Trainer

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Trainer at Oshkosh, you'll develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for production team members. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that every member of our manufacturing workforce has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform their roles safely and effectively. This position is based in our Bradenton facility and offers the chance to make a direct impact on product quality, safety, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Design and teach training curricula covering manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols
• Conduct one-on-one and group instruction for new hires and existing team members
• Assess trainee competency and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Maintain detailed training records and documentation for compliance and quality assurance
• Collaborate with operations managers to identify skill gaps and training needs across the facility
• Demonstrate proper techniques and safe work practices using hands-on, classroom, and digital training methods
• Update training materials to reflect process improvements, regulatory changes, and new equipment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in manufacturing, production supervision, or technical instruction
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machining, welding, assembly, or fabrication processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to teach diverse learners
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language
• Commitment to workplace safety and a track record of promoting safe work practices
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt training methods for different learning styles
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in curriculum development and record-keeping
