Mastercard is hiring a Manager, US Mid-Market, Product Innovation to lead digital payment innovation initiatives from our Fort Myer, Arlington County office. In this full-time role, you'll drive product strategy and development for our highest-growth mid-market customers.
About the Role
You'll own the conception, design, and launch of innovative payment and fintech solutions tailored to mid-market businesses. This position sits at the intersection of customer insight, market opportunity, and technology capability—where strategic thinking translates into products that fuel business growth and market adoption.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute product innovation strategy for the US mid-market segment
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify unmet needs and breakthrough opportunities
- Build data-driven product roadmaps that align with customer priorities and business objectives
- Engage directly with customers to validate concepts, gather feedback, and refine solutions
- Manage product P&L, including budget allocation, resource planning, and go-to-market strategy
- Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure products meet technical requirements and user expectations
- Track KPIs and performance metrics to measure product success and inform iteration
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management, product innovation, or new business development experience
- Track record launching products that drove revenue growth and customer adoption
- Deep familiarity with payment systems, digital banking, or financial technology ecosystems
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with comfort interpreting data and market trends
- Customer-centric mindset and skill at translating user problems into product solutions
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, complex, innovative environments
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional background
