About the Role
The Manager of Strategic Finance will steward Charitywater's financial health and ensure donor commitments are met by overseeing cash flow, reserves, investments, scenario planning, and donor restriction planning. You'll work closely with the Strategic Finance Team to manage liquidity and restricted funds, ensuring alignment between capacity and demand.
Core Duties
- Translate revenue projections into deployable cash and partner with Water Programs to set the grantable water expense envelope
- Ensure balance between donor restrictions and inventory capacity at the portfolio level, surfacing risks and helping drive solutions when needed
- Conduct scenario planning and investment analysis to support strategic financial decisions
- Provide quantitative rigor and investigative insights in cross-functional project management across Revenue, Programs, and Finance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably with a non-profit organization
- Expertise in cash flow, reserves, investments, scenario planning, and donor restriction analysis
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work across multiple departments
- Ability to analyze complex data and present findings clearly
- Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
