Manager, HR Business Partner

About the Role

The HR Business Partner Manager serves as a trusted strategic advisor to people managers at the director level and below. You'll be the go-to resource for your business area, guiding leaders through complex employee relations situations, performance conversations, and organizational change while ensuring consistent application of company policies and best practices.

Core Duties

• Function as the primary HR contact for workplace concerns, resolving employee relations issues fairly and promptly
• Coach and advise people managers on performance management, disciplinary action, and development planning
• Support the design and rollout of organizational initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and retention
• Provide guidance on employment law compliance, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation
• Partner with managers to build and execute talent strategies that align with business goals
• Lead or contribute to HR projects, including training, process improvements, and change management
• Maintain confidentiality while documenting and escalating complex HR matters appropriately

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or similar advisory role
• Demonstrated proficiency in employee relations, performance management, and workplace conflict resolution
• Solid knowledge of employment law, FMLA, ADA, and other relevant compliance areas
• Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong executive presence
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and maintain credibility across all organizational levels
• Experience with HRIS platforms and standard business software
