Deloitte seeks a skilled Manager and Editor for its Government and Public Services (GPS) practice in Detroit. Lead editorial initiatives that inform and inspire public sector leaders on critical business challenges and strategic opportunities.

You'll shape thought leadership content that helps public sector organizations navigate complex business environments. This full-time position in Detroit combines editorial oversight with strategic content management for a dynamic publishing program that reaches thousands of clients and prospects annually.

Core Duties

• Develop and execute editorial strategies for Government and Public Services content initiatives
• Edit, refine, and quality-assure research articles, reports, and multimedia projects for clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, writers, designers, and analysts to produce high-impact business insights
• Manage editorial calendars and publication timelines to meet organizational goals
• Evaluate emerging trends and business issues relevant to public sector audiences
• Maintain editorial standards and ensure all content aligns with Deloitte's voice and publishing guidelines

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an editor, content manager, or similar editorial leadership role
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and clarity
• Knowledge of government, public policy, or public services sectors (preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing tools
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, public policy, or related field
