About This Position

This evening shift opportunity allows you to step into a structured and secure environment where your skills, independence, and clinical judgment truly matter. You'll be working full-time shifts from 2:30 PM to 1 AM at the Craven County Jail in North Carolina.

• Work schedule includes 3 - 10hr shifts and 1 - 5hr shift
• Location: Craven County Jail, NC
• No remote option available

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assessing patients' health needs and documenting findings accurately
• Administering medications as prescribed by a physician or nurse practitioner
• Performing basic medical procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare professional
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
