About the Role
As a Locum Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, you'll provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services across both clinic and operative settings. This position includes daytime clinic hours and 24-hour on-call responsibilities, allowing you to work across the full spectrum of women's health conditions, from routine gynecologic care to complex obstetric management.
What You'll Do
- Conduct patient evaluations, examinations, and consultations in the clinic setting
- Perform obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures in the operating room
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including high-risk pregnancies
- Provide emergency gynecologic care on a 24-hour call basis
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support quality care initiatives and institutional protocols
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Indiana
