Role Overview
Mediix is seeking highly skilled and motivated Registrars in Medicine (RMO) or Junior Medical Officers (JMO) for locum positions at Grafton Base Hospital within the Northern NSW Local Health District. This opportunity presents multiple shifts across AM, Swing, and PM rosters from 1–31 August 2026. The Emergency Department is a bustling Level 3/4 base hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals.
- Participate actively in shift handovers and team meetings.
What You Bring
- A current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience working within an Emergency Department setting, preferably at Level 3/4 hospitals.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in emergency medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
