Role Overview

Hunter Recruiting is seeking a local contract nurse RN for Critical Care (CVICU) in Columbus, Ohio. The position will start on September 20, 2026, and lasts for 13 weeks with a 36-hour weekly commitment, working nights in a 12-hour shift pattern.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing services to patients in the CVICU setting
• Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor vital signs and other key indicators of patient health
• Document patient care activities and progress accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Nursing license in the state of Ohio
• Critical Care (CVICU) experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize patient care needs
