The Opportunity

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is currently seeking a local contract nurse with expertise in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU). This full-time position offers an opportunity to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in San Antonio, Texas. The role will begin on August 24, 2026, and lasts for 13 weeks, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week across both day and night shifts.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to critically ill newborns in the NICU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team promptly.
• Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of patient status and needs.
• Follow hospital protocols and procedures for patient care and safety.

Requirements

• A current RN license valid in Texas is required.
• Experience working in a NICU environment is preferred but not mandatory.
