The Hartford is seeking a Licensed Sales Center Insurance Agent, Personal Lines, for our Washington, D.C. location. About the Role

As a Licensed Sales Center Insurance Agent focused on Personal Lines, you'll be the trusted advisor customers turn to when they need to understand and secure their insurance coverage. Working in our sales center environment, you'll combine your insurance expertise with genuine customer service to match clients with the right protection for their homes, vehicles, and personal assets.

What You'll Do

  • Consult with customers to identify their insurance needs and risk exposure
  • Present and recommend personal lines insurance products that align with customer objectives
  • Complete applications, process policies, and handle customer service inquiries
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure all interactions meet regulatory requirements
  • Build lasting client relationships and follow up on policy renewals
  • Meet sales goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences

What We're Looking For

  • Active Personal Lines (PL) or Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer's License (required)
  • Experience in customer service or sales, preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly to diverse customers
  • Detail-oriented approach to compliance and documentation
  • Motivation to meet sales targets and grow professionally
