About This Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NZTA's in-house legal team. As a Legal Counsel, you will bring your commercial legal expertise to a purpose-driven organisation where you can make a significant impact.

  • Permanent full-time position located in Wellington or Auckland (Te Whiwhinga mahi)

Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Providing legal advice and support to the NZTA team on a wide range of commercial matters.
  • Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting in the drafting and negotiation of contracts and agreements.
  • Supporting the resolution of disputes and litigation as required.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to:
