What You'll Do

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in politics, international relations, and related areas
• Supervise honors and higher-degree research students, supporting their academic development
• Produce high-quality research outputs including peer-reviewed publications and conference contributions
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Contribute to faculty governance, committee work, and community engagement activities
• Build connections with policy institutions, government bodies, and international organizations relevant to your research expertise

What We're Looking For

• A completed doctoral degree in Politics, International Relations, or a closely related discipline
• An emerging or established research profile with a clear publication record or pipeline
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the tertiary level with strong student outcomes
• Specialist expertise in one or more subfields such as IR theory, comparative politics, security studies, foreign policy, or global governance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills suited to diverse student cohorts
