The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Westminster School in the Adelaide CBD. This is a fixed-term, part-time position working from 8:45am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 31.25 hours per week over 39 weeks of the school term.
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: Until further notice with opportunity for permanency from 2027 onwards
Your Responsibilities
The Learning Support Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting students and teachers. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting students with learning needs, providing individualized support where necessary
- Supporting the delivery of inclusive education practices
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student progress to relevant staff members
- Collaborating with teachers to develop strategies for supporting diverse learners
Skills & Qualifications

- A strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
