About the Role

As a Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in Falkner, you'll be the backbone of our store operations. This is a hands-on, full-time position where you'll support both customers and your team while maintaining the high standards that our communities expect from us.

What You'll Do

• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and completing transactions with accuracy and care
• Guide and mentor store associates, demonstrating company standards and helping them grow in their roles
• Manage point-of-sale operations, handle cash responsibly, and maintain accurate register records
• Keep merchandise organized, properly displayed, and well-stocked throughout the store
• Support inventory management tasks, including receiving, counting, and tracking merchandise
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment that reflects Dollar General's standards

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proven customer service experience in retail or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and customers
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and a commitment to showing up on time
• Basic math skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout your shift
