About the Role
As a Lead Paralegal at Finch, you're the backbone connecting attorneys, clients, and our Legal Operations team. You'll orchestrate case workflow, serve as the trusted liaison for both law firms and clients, and ensure every matter advances smoothly toward completion. Your proactive communication and operational excellence directly impact client satisfaction and case outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with attorneys and external counsel
- Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout their case lifecycle, from initial intake through final resolution
- Coordinate case timelines and deliverables with the Legal Operations team to eliminate delays and bottlenecks
- Provide timely, clear case updates to clients and manage expectations proactively
- Manage case documentation, filings, and administrative requirements
- Support litigation activities including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
- Identify and resolve issues before they impact case progress or client relationships
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of paralegal or legal operations experience, ideally in a litigation or case management environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple attorney and client relationships simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage complex timelines and competing priorities
- Proficiency with legal case management software and standard office applications
- Familiarity with legal document preparation and filing procedures
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to client service excellence
