About This Position

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Team Leader to take charge of our kitchen operations in Maidstone. In this leadership role, you'll oversee day-to-day food service delivery, mentor kitchen staff, and uphold the highest standards of quality and food safety. This is a full-time position offering the chance to make a real impact on our guests' dining experience at Greene King.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise kitchen team members, ensuring consistent performance and continuous development
• Maintain strict food hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with industry regulations
• Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet Greene King's quality benchmarks
• Monitor and manage kitchen stock, ordering, and waste to optimise efficiency and costs
• Train team members on cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and company standards
• Collaborate with management to plan menus and respond constructively to customer feedback
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and safe throughout each service
