The Opportunity
Come join our team at Millennium Galvanizing! As a Kettle Crane Operator I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality galvanized products. You'll operate an overhead bridge crane (Demag 5 ton / 10 ton) to lower dipped steel into water tanks for the final galvanizing process. This position is full-time and requires no remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the overhead bridge crane in a safe and effective manner
- Lower dipped steel into water tanks after zinc dipping to complete the galvanizing process
- Scrape and wipe any drips of excess zinc off the steel for a neat finish
Requirements
- Experience operating overhead bridge cranes (preferably Demag 5 ton / 10 ton)
- Able to perform detailed work with precision and attention to detail
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to company policies
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
