Journeyman ICAM Administrator

Maximus is seeking a Journeyman ICAM Administrator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a full-time member of our Identity, Credential, and Access Management team, you'll support mission-critical federal systems while working alongside experienced IT professionals committed to operational excellence and national security.

This position offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in identity and access management within a federal contracting environment. You'll work on systems that directly support government operations, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-scale credential and access control infrastructure while contributing to a collaborative, security-focused team.

What You'll Do

• Administer identity, credential, and access management systems supporting federal infrastructure
• Monitor user accounts, authentication systems, and access controls to ensure security compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues for end users and systems
• Maintain and update access policies consistent with federal security standards
• Document system configurations, processes, and changes for compliance and operational continuity
• Support user provisioning, authentication, and credential management workflows
• Collaborate with security and IT teams to implement identity management best practices
• Assist in testing, validation, and deployment of ICAM system updates and patches

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience administering identity and access management systems
• Working knowledge of authentication protocols, credential systems, and access control frameworks
• Understanding of federal IT security requirements and compliance standards
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills
• Ability to document processes clearly and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to security principles and attention to detail
• Willingness to expand skills and stay current with ICAM technologies and best practices
