About the Role
As our BMW Master Technician Mechanic at JP Euro, you'll take charge of complex European luxury vehicle diagnostics and repairs. You'll mentor junior technicians, oversee quality standards, and be the go-to expert for challenging BMW service jobs across our Johnston shop. This role combines hands-on technical excellence with team leadership in a fast-paced, growing automotive service environment.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair BMW engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and advanced diagnostic components
- Perform routine and complex maintenance including inspections, fluid services, and preventative care
- Lead technician training and quality reviews to maintain shop standards and customer satisfaction
- Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and European specialty tools
- Manage multiple service jobs while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and BMW technical specifications
- Communicate with customers about repairs, timelines, and technical recommendations
What We're Looking For
- BMW Master Technician certification or equivalent advanced European automotive expertise
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on BMW or luxury European vehicle repair experience
- Proficiency with BMW diagnostic software and specialty service tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ASE Master certification or willingness to pursue it
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
