IT Systems DevOps Engineer - Cologix - Lakeland, Florida (Remote)
The Opportunity
Cologix is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Systems Administration team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and engineering internal solutions that support core business operations. Your primary functions include designing, deploying, and monitoring automation services between various business systems; reviewing, analyzing, and streamlining current business processes and systems; and assisting with the design, deployment, and management of core business systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, and monitoring automation services between different business systems
- Reviewing, analyzing, and streamlining existing business processes and systems
- Assisting in the design, deployment, and management of core business systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support for internal solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
