About the Role

As our Investment Management Counsel, you'll be the trusted legal advisor for clients navigating intricate investment and wealth management questions. Your work will center on understanding their goals, applying sophisticated legal analysis, and delivering practical counsel that protects their interests and meets regulatory requirements. This is a full-time position working on-site as part of our Financial Services legal team.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal guidance on investment advisory matters, fiduciary duties, and wealth management strategies
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to investment management and advisory relationships
• Counsel clients on regulatory compliance obligations affecting their portfolios and investment structures
• Identify and mitigate legal and compliance risks in wealth management arrangements
• Stay current with evolving securities law, tax law, and fiduciary standards
• Collaborate with financial advisors and wealth managers to ensure integrated client solutions
• Prepare legal documentation addressing investment, tax, and estate planning concerns

What We're Looking For

• Licensed attorney with strong background in securities law, investment management, or fiduciary law
• Demonstrated experience advising high-net-worth individuals or institutional clients
• Deep knowledge of investment advisory regulations, including applicable SEC and state requirements
• Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice
• Proactive mindset; comfort working independently and collaboratively
