In-Store Sales Consultant

Join ARS-Rescue Rooter as an In-Store Sales Consultant at our Carol Stream, DuPage County location. We're seeking a full-time professional to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in our showroom environment.

About the Role

As an In-Store Sales Consultant with ARS-Rescue Rooter, you'll be the trusted point of contact for customers visiting our Carol Stream showroom. In this full-time position, you'll blend consultative selling with product expertise to help homeowners and property managers find the right HVAC, plumbing, and electrical solutions for their needs. Your flexible schedule typically spans 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend availability required.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and understand their home service needs and priorities
• Present HVAC, plumbing, and electrical products and services with confidence and clarity
• Guide customers through product options, features, and benefits to match their budgets and requirements
• Build rapport and trust to close sales and generate repeat business
• Maintain an organized, professional showroom that reflects our brand standards
• Coordinate with service teams and technicians to ensure smooth customer handoff
• Meet monthly sales targets and performance goals

What We're Looking For

• Proven customer-facing sales experience or strong ability to engage customers effectively
• Excellent communication and listening skills that build trust
• Genuine enthusiasm for home services and solving customer problems
• Quick learner who can master product knowledge and explain technical features clearly
• Self-motivated approach and comfort with performance-based commission structures
• Availability for weekends and flexible scheduling in Carol Stream
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience a plus

Compensation & Schedule

This full-time In-Store Sales Consultant position offers competitive pay from $20 to $23 per hour plus commission. With commission, earning potential reaches $20 to $30 per hour on average. We provide flexible scheduling with typical hours between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and weekend availability is required.
