Visiting Angels of Reading is hiring an In Home Personal Aide in Temple, Berks County, Pennsylvania. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling across day, evening, and overnight shifts while providing essential care and support to seniors in their homes throughout Berks and Northern Chester County.

About the Role

As an In Home Personal Aide with Visiting Angels, you'll build meaningful relationships with our clients by assisting them with daily living activities while maintaining their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is hands-on caregiving work that makes a direct, visible difference in someone's everyday experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing support
• Help with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques to ensure safety
• Prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and manage laundry
• Administer medications or reminders as directed and permitted
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation
• Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation within the home and community
• Monitor client health and report changes to supervisors and family members
• Maintain detailed care notes and communicate client needs to the care team
