Join Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay as a Retail Store Manager in Training at our Oakland, California location. We're seeking a motivated leader to develop retail management expertise through our comprehensive training program and advance into a Store Manager role in the San Francisco Bay Area.
About the Role
This full-time Retail Store Manager in Training position is your pathway to leading one of our retail stores. You'll complete an intensive training program designed to prepare you for the Store Manager role, gaining hands-on experience in operations, customer service, staff leadership, and sales performance. The position is based at our Oakland store and includes training across multiple Goodwill facilities in the region.
What You'll Do
- Learn comprehensive retail store operations and management practices through structured training
- Develop proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory control, and visual merchandising
- Build leadership capabilities by working alongside experienced store leaders and managing team members
- Work toward meeting performance goals that make you eligible for a monthly performance bonus
- Support a positive customer experience and maintain store organization and cleanliness standards
- Progress through training to assume full Store Manager responsibilities upon completion

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time role offers a competitive salary with a minimum of $77,250 annually. Upon completing training and achieving performance goals, you'll earn a monthly performance bonus.
