HVAC/R Service Technician

Innovative Mechanical & Design (IMD), a Legence company, is hiring a full-time HVAC/R Service Technician in Windsor, Weld County to keep heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems running at peak performance for our clients.

About the Role

As an HVAC/R Service Technician with IMD in Windsor, Weld County, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment in the field. This is a hands-on, full-time position suited to a technician who takes pride in delivering practical, high-quality solutions that meet and surpass industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial sites.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Install and commission heating, cooling, and refrigeration components in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret system readings, identify root causes of faults, and apply creative, lasting fixes.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates, documenting work accurately on each project.
• Follow all safety, code, and quality standards on every job.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment.
• Solid working knowledge of heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, customer-first approach.
• Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites in and around Windsor, Weld County.
