About This Position
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Saab Aerospace Systems in West Lafayette, IN. As an integral part of the local HR team, you will work closely with corporate HR to support various business functions and ensure alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and employees to address HR-related issues and provide guidance on policies and procedures
- Conduct employee relations activities including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates and participating in the interview process
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in human resources. Key qualifications include:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed
- Experience with HRIS systems and knowledge of employment laws and regulations
