Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and inspiring planning professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Strategic Planning. This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in protecting and enhancing one of the UK's most cherished landscapes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the Cotswolds National Landscape, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability within the landscape.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations, to foster partnerships and secure funding.
• Conduct market research and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and drive organizational success.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in planning and conservation efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, landscape management, or a related field.
• A degree in Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Public Administration, or a relevant discipline is required.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects and managing diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and negotiating with stakeholders.
