The Head of Product for Motors at Trade Me is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our automotive vertical. You will lead a cross-functional team to develop and deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience and drive business outcomes. Key responsibilities include defining product strategy, managing product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering and design teams, and ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

Core Duties

• Develop and execute the Motors product strategy in line with Trade Me's vision and market trends.
• Lead a high-performing product team to deliver on key business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.
• Analyze data and user feedback to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Head of Product or in a senior leadership role within the tech industry, preferably in the automotive sector.
• A deep understanding of the Motors vertical and current market trends.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving product development from concept to launch.
