Accounts Receivable-Plaza Motors

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Creve Coeur, Saint Louis County team. In this full-time position, you'll manage customer payments, maintain accurate financial records, and support our cash flow operations, playing a key role in the financial health of our organization.

About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our customer payment and billing processes. You'll work independently to ensure invoices are accurate, payments are processed promptly, and customer accounts remain current. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in financial operations while directly supporting company profitability.

What You'll Do

• Generate and distribute customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness
• Process incoming payments and record transactions in our accounting systems
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
• Prepare aged receivables reports for management review
• Reconcile account statements and verify transaction accuracy
• Maintain organized, complete records of all customer transactions
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status and outstanding invoices

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial work
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Professional communication skills and customer service orientation
• Understanding of accounts receivable functions and best practices
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
• Previous accounts receivable or bookkeeping experience a plus
