B-Technician – Kia Burlington

About the Role

As a B-Technician, you'll perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks at our Kia dealership service center. This is a hands-on position where you'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications, and maintain detailed service records. You'll work with modern diagnostic tools and equipment, staying current with Kia vehicle systems and industry best practices. Your work supports our commitment to delivering dependable automotive service to the Burlington community.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose vehicle problems using specialized testing equipment and manufacturer guidelines
• Perform routine and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and other components
• Execute maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and fluid replacements
• Document all work completed and parts used with accuracy and detail
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair timelines and findings to customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with dealership standards
• Help resolve technical challenges through systematic problem-solving and continued learning

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active automotive technician certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Proficiency with diagnostic scanners, hand tools, and shop equipment
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, and service bulletins
• Commitment to accuracy, safety, and professional workmanship
• Reliable transportation and punctuality

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $25–$30 based on experience, certifications, industry background, and relevant qualifications.
