Head Houseperson, Keystone Resort Property Management – Full Time/Summer Seasonal – Keystone, CO

Lead our housekeeping operations as Head Houseperson at Vail Resorts' Keystone property in Colorado. This full-time position offers the chance to drive exceptional standards across guest accommodations and common areas at one of the West's most iconic mountain resorts.

About the Role

As Head Houseperson, you'll oversee all aspects of our residential and hospitality cleaning operations, ensuring every guest-facing space reflects the luxury experience Keystone is known for. This leadership role combines hands-on expertise with team coordination, quality control, and operational excellence in a fast-paced resort environment.

What You'll Do

• Direct and supervise the housekeeping team to maintain premium cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and amenity areas
• Develop and implement cleaning protocols and quality-assurance processes that align with Vail Resorts' hospitality standards
• Manage inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment; coordinate procurement and minimize waste
• Schedule staff, assign tasks, and ensure adequate coverage for daily operations and seasonal peaks
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and maintain consistency
• Collaborate with front-of-house, maintenance, and management teams to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction
• Respond to maintenance requests, guest feedback, and special cleaning needs with urgency and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality operations, preferably in a resort or luxury hotel setting
• Deep knowledge of professional cleaning standards, chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple priorities and seasonal fluctuations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team and work cross-functionally
• Commitment to detail and guest-centric thinking; ability to maintain high standards under pressure
• Physical capability to perform housekeeping tasks as needed
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays during peak season
