About This Position
Mercy is seeking a dedicated Graduate Nurse Resident for the Cardiac Pavilion. This full-time position offers night shifts and requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care within a professional and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care
- Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
- Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
- Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality
Skills & Qualifications
- Recent graduate or current student pursuing a nursing degree from an accredited program
- Prioritize patient safety and well-being
- Aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Night shift availability required
