Role Overview
Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a new graduate nurse to join our hemodialysis health care team in Portsmouth, Virginia. As part of the team, you will work under the direction or supervision of a Staff Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care daily. This role aligns with FMS policies, procedures, and training.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for patients undergoing hemodialysis
- Document patient care activities, treatments, and observations accurately and promptly
- Support the FMCNA's mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy
- Contribute to a safe and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
- New graduate nurse with a valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Prior hemodialysis experience preferred but not required
