About This Position

This is a full-time position based in Saint Louis, Missouri. Join our specialized 19-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) where you will care for high-acuity patients recovering from abdominal transplants such as kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants. Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting, including monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are developed and implemented.
• Participate in team rounds, patient education sessions, and discharge planning activities.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures for infection control, medication administration, and documentation.
