About the Role
Altru Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Altru Health System, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative nursing care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients in regaining function, independence, and quality of life.
Core Duties
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans
- Administering medications as prescribed by a physician
- Performing physical assessments to monitor patients' progress
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and social workers
- Educating patients and their families on care plans and self-management strategies
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with the following qualifications:
- A current, valid RN license in the state of employment
- Experience in rehabilitation nursing or related field is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Patient-centered care approach with a focus on quality outcomes
