FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (FULL TIME)

Compass Group, North America is actively recruiting for full-time Food Service Utility positions in Siler City, located in Chatham County, North Carolina. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our food service operations running smoothly and safely.

About the Role

As a Food Service Utility team member, you'll support our daily kitchen and food preparation operations at our facility located at 1101 East Third Street in Siler City, NC 27344. This is a full-time position with morning (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) or evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) shift options, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation and cooking tasks
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations to health code standards
• Handle washing, storage, and rotation of dishes, utensils, and food containers
• Support inventory management and stock rotation
• Maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Follow food safety protocols and company procedures consistently
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff

What We're Looking For

• Prior food service or kitchen experience is preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and follow safety and food handling procedures
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout your shift
