Right at Home Long Beach is hiring a Tagalog-speaking female caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Compton, Los Angeles County. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling, offering 12–16 hours per week of meaningful work supporting an individual with dementia.

About the Role

This caregiving position centers on building trust and maintaining dignity while delivering hands-on support to a client managing dementia-related challenges. You'll serve as a trusted presence in the home, balancing practical daily assistance with genuine companionship that enriches quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily companionship and active supervision to ensure the client's well-being and emotional comfort
• Prepare nutritious, simple meals and assist with meal planning tailored to the client's preferences
• Implement safety measures, including fall prevention strategies and environmental awareness
• Complete routine household tasks such as light tidying and household maintenance
• Respond with patience and calm to behavioral fluctuations, including occasional confusion or agitation
• Maintain clear communication with the family and care team about the client's daily activities and any concerns

What We're Looking For

• Female caregiver with fluent Tagalog and English language skills
• Proven experience providing care for individuals with dementia—this is essential for this position
• Demonstrated ability to remain patient, composed, and supportive in complex caregiving situations
• Physical capability to assist with light tasks and household activities
• Reliable transportation to the Compton area and commitment to consistent scheduling
• References from previous caregiving roles
