About the Role
As Federal Marketing Lead (Demand Gen), you'll own the go-to-market strategy and campaign execution that fuels pipeline growth for the federal market. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll blend strategic planning with tactical execution, translating business objectives into targeted demand generation campaigns that resonate with government buyers.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with federal sales objectives
- Design and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting federal agencies, prime contractors, and resellers
- Build customer segmentation models to guide personalized outreach and messaging
- Establish marketing metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that track pipeline contribution and ROI
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitive positioning, and buyer needs in the federal sector
- Lead customer experience strategy and design end-to-end campaign journeys
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources to highest-impact initiatives
- Collaborate with federal sales teams to align messaging and accelerate deal velocity
- Ensure all marketing activities meet compliance requirements and federal contracting standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading demand generation programs or federal government marketing
- Strong background in marketing strategy, planning, and execution in B2B environments
- Demonstrated expertise in customer segmentation, buyer journey mapping, and campaign analytics
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes, GSA schedules, or government contracting is a plus
- Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on tactical work
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
