About the Role
Addus HomeCare seeks compassionate professionals to serve families enrolled in our DCFS-administered programs. As a Family Services Specialist, you'll work with families participating in Family Habilitation Services, Visitation, and Housing programs. Your role ensures families understand and meet court-ordered program requirements while building trust and connecting them with the resources they need to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Support families in understanding and complying with court-ordered program participation and requirements
- Coordinate services across Family Habilitation, Visitation, and Housing programs
- Engage families in case planning and progress monitoring activities
- Connect families with community resources and supportive services
- Maintain clear communication with DCFS caseworkers and team members
- Document services and maintain accurate records
- Work independently and collaboratively to address family needs and program goals
