The non-exempt role pays $21–$24 hourly, requires zero travel, and involves moderate workplace noise plus physical activity such as extended standing, frequent bending, climbing, and moving items of 10 pounds or more with help from a teammate, demanding solid vision, dexterity, and hand-eye skill for repeated precise motions. Key Responsibilities

• Uphold operational protocols each day and meet all applicable state medical marijuana rules
• Drive and enforce procedures that keep testing and formulation activities running smoothly
• Carry out quality checks with analytical methods to confirm product consistency, purity, and effectiveness
• Partner with production staff throughout testing and formulation stages
• Plan extraction experiments that improve purity levels and process yields
• Introduce refined extraction and purification methods while monitoring broader industry progress
• Achieve proficiency across marijuana extraction and infusion approaches, including butane techniques
• Expand knowledge of formulation testing plus cannabis compound purification, separation, and isolation
• Control inventory records, documentation, and product standards continuously via seed-to-sale tracking
• Organize disposal of extraction residues and returned material
• Align workflow needs among production stages
• Weigh every batch and log results with exactness
• Complete work on schedule while raising both quality and precision
• Ensure concentrates receive correct packaging, counts, sorting, and labels
• Resolve daily operational matters and escalate when help is required
• Perform further tasks assigned to the position

What You Bring

• Age of at least 21 years
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a comparable scientific field preferred
• Three to five years of related experience focused on production or manufacturing operations
• Direct hands-on ownership of complete production cycles covering both operations and analysis
• Proven analytical testing background; HPLC experience preferred
• Familiarity with cannabis testing or formulation approaches preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, people skills, and ability to juggle multiple demands
• Professional conduct that models expected standards
• Skill at directing controlled processes in a high-tempo setting
• Genuine commitment to medical marijuana’s significance
• Prior work inside a GMP-regulated operation
• Practical cannabis-oil extraction experience covering decarboxylation, supercritical CO2 methods, winterization, distillation, and separation, along with related equipment care
• Prior supervisory responsibility
• Capacity to satisfy all background-check requirements
• Readiness for the physical elements listed above
